Driving progress in human rights, education, legal advocacy, and community support
The Turkish Cypriot Human Rights Foundation (TCHRF) is a non-governmental organization conducting human rights-focused work in the northern part of Cyprus. Its efforts are not limited to monitoring and addressing human rights violations affecting only Turkish Cypriots; rather, it embraces an activism approach that defends and advocates for the rights of all individuals living in the region.
TCHRF aims to combat human rights violations affecting all segments of society, including migrants, refugees, women, LGBTQ+ individuals, workers, and other disadvantaged groups. Upholding the principles of freedom, equality, and justice, the foundation carries out various activities in the fields of law, education, public awareness, and advocacy.
Striving to make human rights violations in northern Cyprus visible, TCHRF seeks to raise awareness and advocate against such violations. Additionally, it collaborates with local and international human rights networks to foster broader awareness and action against human rights abuses in the region.
Since 2005, the Turkish Cypriot Human Rights Foundation (TCHRF) has been working tirelessly to protect human rights, promote equality, and build bridges for a peaceful solution in Cyprus.
We strive to ensure democracy, the rule of law, and respect for human dignity for all.
Through education, advocacy, and legal efforts, we aim to inspire change and raise awareness.
